Joan J. Koplan started JJK in NWGA back in 1984 with only her experience as an armed security officer and her previous work with Catoosa and Whitfield Co.'s Sheriffs Dept.

 

In 1987 Joan graduated Floyd Jr. College Regional Police Academy. Receiving the Safe Driving Award, and being at the top of her class. Joan was able after leaving the Academy, to apply and receive her firearms instructors license and her Private Investigative instructors license from the State of GA.

Joan's husband Irwin joined his wife in the business in 1990. After intensive private investigative training, Irwin managed this portion of JJK, and also over saw sales; as the new V.P.

An effective 40 hour Initial Basic Training Course as well as additional 40 hours of field training prepares our recruits to perform their duties professionally and with confidence. Our staff also receives continuous security & safety education & training annually.
